Football & Business, Bloody Hell ~ it's a great title. I'm neither a football fan, nor a CEO, but I would be curious about your book. The concept you are describing is precious (obviously about so much more than football and running a company) It's about those important parts of life most people keep under wraps and never talk about. But they are running our lives...

I totally agree, ideas are alive and have a mind of their own. They are gifts of the creative genius, I totally resonate with E.G. on that one. That's why I always carry a notebook with me, and write first thing in the morning, so the ideas don't slip away.

I do believe that ideas are a consciousness or an energy, seeking a host through which to manifest. It does seem to me that there is indeed a season or period of time given once an idea comes to a potential host. However, if that idea doesn’t find a host, could it be still seeking? That’s an interesting perspective!

I tend to feel it may had to do with the idea itself. Some ideas I think are for a particular time and may not have any relevance later. As an example, when I was a teenager, I had the idea of creating a reverse play cassette player, (dating myself here!). I always thought it was a pain to have to flip over a tape, and would be easy to create a tape player that would simply reverse. Well, someone beat me to it! But if that idea had never found a host it would not have any relevance at all today!

As a child, I had a dream of moving to the mountains of New York and building a resort. But I concluded as a adult that it was just a childish dream and I needed to move on. However, in my 30s that dream came back to me with such force that I couldn’t ignore it until I finally embraced it and today live in the Adirondack mountains running two inns!

The fact that your idea has not found any a pair, and Herrs, and has seem to come back to you, may have significance in my opinion.

‘So when Ideas don’t manifest, where do they go?’ And yet… they’re somehow alive still, yes?? The aliveness of something possible?

Do you find also that if you don’t soon respond to the energy of the idea, its presence, its realness, dissipates? I struggle to go back to story ideas often, feeling like I somehow missed the moment. Or maybe that’s just justification for not getting after it… 😏

Thanks Mo! When it’s ready to be written, it will flow through you. You’ll write it in blood as it consumes you. Bless you! 🙏❤️
